Police
have used water cannons and tear gas to disperse rioting concert-goers
in Colombia after hundreds of fans tried to break into a Metallica
concert.

Local media reported that more than 30-thousand ticketed fans entered the concert in the capital Bogota.
But hundreds more without tickets tried to get in to see the heavy metal band.
Police say up to 600 fans tried to break in from different parts of the park.
Several officers were injured by rocks and sticks thrown by irate fans.
Police detained more than 100 people, although most of them were later released.
It was Metallica's first concert in Colombia in more than a decade.
